Today is the day I depart for Indonesia. I am extremely sad to leave Scotland. Living here was a dream of mine for a decade, and I'm very sad I wasn't able to live here longer. But, I'm glad I got the chance to live here at all, and I know this is a place I'll always come back to.
I'll be offline for a few days while I'm in transit. I've been promised the internet connection in our new place will be up and running when we arrive, so I'll be back online as soon as possible!
Before I go I just want to thank you all so much for reading my continued planner angst while preparing for this move, and last year's move too. You are probably tired of reading posts about moving!
Hopefully Indonesia will open all kinds of new planner possibilities for me and I'll have new and exciting planners and notebooks to write about. And don't forget the upcoming gladiator-style battle of Filofax vs. Moleskine! That should be fine planner entertainment indeed. ;)
Thanks again everyone! I plan to be back with you soon.
I wish you a safe and quick trip, and I hope you will find lots of fun and happiness in your new home. See you soon!
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing about your new adventures.

I wish you all the best as you embark on this new adventure!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels for you and your family!
I wish you and your family a safe flight. It will be a real adventure! You will probably end falling in love with the place :-)
ReplyDeleteI look forward to the Gladiator style battle too!
My family wishes yours safe travels, new and fabulous adventures, and abundant new delightful friendships!!
ReplyDeleteLook forward to hearing about your new place, and all planner "battles" haha.
Blessings!!
Safe travels, Laurie. Can't wait to get back to reading your blog soon!
ReplyDeleteMay you and your family have a safe trip and a wonderful life in Indonesia. It's sad we couldn't meet whilst you were here, but who knows, maybe one day I end up in Asia as well and we can meet. I'll be looking forward to reading all about your adventures and planners!
ReplyDeleteBig hug!!
Best wishes for your move! Travel safely!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels Laurie. And welcome to this fantastic and exciting part of the world! Unfortunately will my family and I move back to Europe over the summer months... But who knows, after 3 moves to Asia, why not a 4th? I look forward to your next post!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels to you and your family, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much everyone!
ReplyDeleteWe are in Singapore for a couple of days, and it's amazing here! I've already seen a bunch of different kinds of notebooks including ecosystem (which I reviewed here: http://www.plannerisms.com/2010/05/ecosystem-lined-journal.html ) I also saw a planner with monthly and weekly views at the same time similar to the Gakken StaFul Rabbit planner I reviewed here: http://www.plannerisms.com/2010/11/gakken-staful-schedule-2011.html There's great stationery here!!
Laurie, I live in Singapore! If you're in for a cup of coffee, just let me know and we could meet up somewhere, if time permits. Would be great!
ReplyDeleteThanks nickynic! Unfortunately I'm in our hotel room all day with my ill son while H is in meetings. Poor little guy has a rotten cold and I'm hoping a rest day will help him get a little better before our flight tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteBut I will let you know the next time I come up and we can try to meet up then! :)
Ooh, I hope your son will feel better soon! Have a safe trip onwards to Jakarta. Do let me know next time you're here. Hopefully before July, as we'll be moving back to The Netherlands then. In the meantime, I look forward to reading your blogs!
ReplyDeleteGood luck settling in - you'll have a wonderful time in Indonesia!
